Property Damage: $25,000 of minimum coverage.
Mississippi Small Claims Limit: Car accident claims under $3,500 should be filed in Small Claims Court.
Mississippi Personal Injury Statute of Limitations: The statute of limitations for personal injury claims in Mississippi is 3 years from the date the injury occurred, or the time the injury was discovered if it could not have been immediately discovered.

MISSISSIPPI CAR ACCIDENT REPORTS
Mississippi Police Reports: You can request a copy of a police report of your car accident by contacting the law enforcement agency that investigated your car accident.
DMV: You are not required to file a car accident report with the Department of Public Safety in Mississippi, regardless of any injury, death, or property damage. The police will complete a crash report if the car accident results in injury, death, or over $250 in damages.
