In 1979, George Martin opened his own firm with one clear goal: to defend and protect injured workers. Today, Martin Banks is one of the few firms in Pennsylvania that restricts its practice to workers' compensation, and we are the largest firm in the state that only represents injured workers.

Our trial lawyers have litigated the full spectrum of compensation cases, protecting our clients' rights in claims, hearings and appeals. We handle every type of work injury claim, and represent workers in a wide range of occupations.

In recent years we created and steadily built a strong practice assisting people with Social Security Disability, a natural complement to our work injury practice. (Many of our clients receive both workers' comp and SSD.) We are now also handling Long Term Disability claims.
