HISTORY, EDUCATION AND OVERVIEW Having spent a great part of his legal career reprsenting insurance companies in personal injury and property damage claims, Mr. Feldman now will use this experience and insight to help you achieve the best financial recovery for you on any personal injury type case. Mr. Feldman is one of the founding partners of Silver, Levy, Feldman, Bass & Brams. Mr. Feldman was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1965. He graduated from the University of South Florida in 1987 with a BS in Finance; and he earned his JD from Emory University, in Atlanta Georgia in 1995. Mr. Feldman became a member of the State Bar of Georgia in 1995 and the Florida Bar in 1996. Since 1996, he has been a member of Silver, Levy, Feldman Bass & Brams. He is a founding partner of the firm, and the managing partner of the Tampa and Ocala/Gainesville offices. Mr. Feldman is admitted to practice in all State Courts of Florida and Georgia. He is admitted to practice in all Federal District Courts in Florida, and The Federal District Court in Atlanta, Georgia. He has handled cases in all corners of the State of Florida. Mr. Feldman is a member of RISK INSURANCE MANAGEMENT SOCIETY (RIMS) the WCCP and PCCP, the West Coast Claims Association and the Tampa Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Feldman’s practice areas are broad in scope, with the emphasis on civil litigation. Mr. Feldman served for several years as lead outside counsel for a regional telecommunications company, representing the business in cases involving: whistleblower claims, discrimination, unpaid wages, overtime wages, breach of contract, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, tortious interference of business and contractual relationships, sexual harassment, and fraud. Throughout his general civil litigation and trial practice, Mr. Feldman has handled many large value personal injury cases upwards of $5 million dollars, including complex medical malpractice claims, automobile and truck accidents, and other cases involving bodily injury related to trip and falls or slip and falls. Additionally, Mr. Feldman was lead counsel on a National multi-million dollar FLSA (overtime wage) case in Federal Court. TRIAL EXPERIENCE Mr. Feldman has an outstanding jury trial and bench trial track record; he is undefeated in jury trials. Mr. Feldman prevailed on several cases on significance representing the defense, including the cases of: Mann v. DOT, Circuit Court, Alachua County, Gainesville, Florida: Jury Verdict for the defense, October, 2007. Automobile accident case alleging negligence in road design and maintenance. Craig v. RJD Enterprises, d/b/a McDonald’s: Circuit Court, Sarasota County, December 2001. Trip and fall case alleging negligence in failure to warn and failure to maintain the premises in reasonably safe condition Heiffer v. IDS Telcom, Broward County Circuit Court, December, 2004.
