Elliot S. Schlissel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Oswego in 1972. Thereafter, he attended both Hofstra Law School and the State University of New York Law School at Buffalo, where he graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1975. He also studied international protection of human rights at the Counsel of Europe in Strasbourg, France.

Mr. Schlissel is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, before the federal courts of the Eastern District of New York, the Southern District if New York and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Schlissel is listed in the Marquis’ Who’s Who of American Law. He has received the highest rating from Martindale-Hubbell Attorney’s Law Directory. He has acted as the president of the Commercial Lawyers Conference of New York, a regional bar association. He has been a member of the Negligence (Personal Injury) committees of the New York Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association, the Queens County Bar Association, the Kings County Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association.

Elliot S. Schlissel Esq. has been a member of various bar association committees; of the New York State Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association, Queens County Bar Association, Suffolk County Bar Association, Kings County Bar Association. He has been a member of the Commercial Lawyers Conference of New York, a regional bar association, and he has served two terms as President of this bar association.

He has been active in local chambers of commerce and active as an attorney for a local chamber of commerce organization.
