Attorney Profile
About the Attorney :
The firm of Dionne and Dionne was formed in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, in August of 1996, by Don and Melinda Dionne. The Dionnes were married in 1990. They have practiced in the area of bankruptcy throughout their legal careers. Prior to the formation of Dionne and Dionne, Don ran his own bankruptcy practice in Birmingham and Tusaloosa. The majority of Don's bankruptcy practice centered around his work as a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee. During his time as a bankruptcy trustee, Don oversaw over 5000 bankruptcy cases. Melinda joined Don in his practice after leaving her position as a partner in the firm of Schoel, Ogle, Benton and Centeno in Birmingham, Alabama. While working at Schoel, Ogle, Benton and Centeno, Melinda represented debtors, trustees, and creditors in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy cases. Prior to working at Schoel, Ogle, Benton, Melinda clerked for the Honorable George S. Wright who was then the Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Alabama.
