Testimonials -He was a kind, knowledgeable person whom helped me in a timely manner and finished my legal matter with nothing to besmirch my name. Thank you very much Mr. Shapiro.
-Darren was fantastic. He was always available to take calls and answered clearly and specifically. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with and succeeded in resolving my case expeditiously.
-Darren is a very nice, personable attorney. He is sensitive to your particular situation, and listens to his clients. What impressed me the most is the fact that Darren quoted me a flat fee for my case, and despite having to go to court 3 times, never once did he ask me for additional fees. I would retain his services again if need be, and would certainly recommend him to anyone in need of legal council.
-I thought Mr. Shapiro was great. This was my first time having to hire a lawyer and I could not have been happier with him. From the beginning he made me feel comfortable. He was very patient with me and he helped me understand what was going on and what to expect. He lets you know that you are free to contact him with any questions. I could not ask for a better lawyer. My case was resolved and we were very happy with his representation. I would highly recommend him.
-I am very pleased with the services I received by Mr. Shapiro. He did everything he could as a lawyer to help me out and succeeded. I would recommend him to anyone with legal issues. I would also use his services again if needed, but hopefully I will never have to.
-Darren Shapiro did an outstanding job with case he was hired for. His price was reasonable and his actions were effective in this case. I would hire this Lawyer again and highly recommend his services.

Verdicts & Settlements Although I represent many clients, the following are details of some completed cases. In November 2007 I obtained two not guilty verdicts for assault in the first degree charges after a jury trial. It was a three count indictment with the third count being assault in the second degree. The jury was unable to reach a verdict on that last count.
In another case, I was assigned counsel for a defendant with an assault charge. I was successful in getting alleged statements of my client suppressed at a pre-trial hearing. After our success at the hearing, the prosecution softened its position. My client was given an ACOD so that he can ultimately have his case dismissed all together.
In a third case, I represented a client for a domestic violence charge. My client was not an American citizen and risked severe consequences from immigration services. The prosecution wanted my client to take domestic violence classes but he was unable to because he did not have the means to pay for them. We took the case right up to the brink of trial but the prosecution was not prepared. This happened several times. Ultimately, I filed a motion to dismiss the case based on the failure of the prosecution to be ready for trial in the time period required by law and we were granted the dismissal.
