Mr Benowitz graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991 with honors.

Mr. Benowitz obtained an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy in 2006 from Temple University's Beasley School of Law. He graduated near the top of his class at G.W. Law School in 1995 where he participated in the DC Law Students in Court Program, was a Member of the George Washington Law Review and the Moot Court Board.
