Matt graduated from college with a degree in Psychology. Following graduation Matt was employed at a long term, in patient care facility working with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients.
Eventually, Matt went on to work with abused and neglected children with emotional and psychological issues necessitating their placement in a long-term care facility.
In 2000 Matt began his law school career at Northern Illinois University College of Law. He graduated Cum Laude.
During law school Matt was a member of the moot court teem, interstate mock trial team, and active in the Public Interest Law Society.
