Attorney Profile About the Attorney :My firm is small by choice. I provide clients with direct access to me; you will not be dealing with junior level associates, paralegals and legal assistants, etc. At the same time, without the overhead of a large staff, I am able to keep legal costs down. I am convinced that clients appreciate the personal attention and accountability often lost in larger firms. My clients pay for quality legal services, not the maintenance of resources they will never use.

Verdicts & Settlements Plaintiff's lead counsel in Beverly v. Greater Southeast Community Hospital, et al, 25 ATLA L. Rep. 474 (1982). ($1.5 million medical malpractice verdict against an internist for negligent work-up and surgical referral of a patient misdiagnosed as having gall bladder disease). Counsel for the appellant in Cannon v. Mcken, 296 Md. 27, 459 A.2d 196 (1983); The Court of Appeals of Maryland held that jurisdiction of the Maryland Health Claims Arbitration Act did not include claims for damages arising from a professional's failure to exercise due care in a non-professional situation such as premises liability. This brought several classes of plaintiffs out of the arbitration system, once more entitling such plaintiffs to trial by jury. Numerous six-figure verdicts and settlement for personal injury clients. Counsel for Metropolitan Home Therapeutics, Inc., a local medical company, in its 1988 purchase by a major national medical services corporation. Representation included negotiation of purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and preparation of merger documents. Counsel for plaintiff in Raisley v. Maryland Board of Psychologists (unreported 1978 opinion of the Maryland Board of Administrative Appeals). First case challenging the application of the Maryland law permitting non-psychologists to become licensed therapists. Based on the Board's position in this case, hundreds of psychiatric social workers became eligible for insurance reimbursement. Contact this attorney at (888) 612-3092 or Send Email
