Founded in 2002, the firm specializes in patent, trademark, copyright, and Internet law, protecting and promoting the ideas, products, logos, services, creative works, and other assets of each client.

At Bambi Faivre Walters, PC, we apply what has been referred to as the “three-legged stool” test. The basic idea is that to have balance, any stool that supports one’s weight needs to have three legs. While two legs might be able to balance part of one’s weight with concentrated effort, if one loses concentration, then one might lose balance. We apply this theory to our interactions with our clients.

The First Leg: First, and most importantly, we ask—can we help our potential client? We explore whether we have the knowledge, experience, and necessary time for each potential new case. We try to communicate to the client our knowledge, experience, and understanding of the law, as well as outcomes of similar cases. We cannot guarantee any outcome, but our attorneys use their decades of business, technology, intellectual property, engineering, and government experience to strengthen our approach. If we do not think that we can help, then we do not take the case.

The Second Leg: Second, we ask—are we going to have fun? While the use of “fun” in law may seem like an oxymoron, this aspect is important. If we are passionate about a potential client’s case, then we know that we will be motivated to do our finest work. We recognize that it is the cases and the clients that make us want to go the distance—whether this involves staying up late, working on the weekend, or other sacrifices. In these cases, we want results and have a hunger that is similar to our client’s own hunger for their case. Oftentimes, knowing that we can make a difference in just one person’s life is enough to bring us to the finish line.

The Third Leg: Third, we ask—are we going to get paid? We admit that we need to be paid or we could not stay in business, but we try to work with our clients to keep their financial concerns in mind and to control fees. Our firm offers flat hourly fees, as well as blended, reduced hourly rate arrangements.
