Question Details:I went to a club in the casino an a man forcefully grabbed me telling me to get out. He never said why but I went to get my shoes and he pushed me to the ground. I jumped up to defend myself and out of no where 5 men grabbed me. I was taken into the back and was held not knowing why. I found out in the back that the guard was a bouncer. I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING for him to tell me to leave. I have scratches, bruises and my nail is hanging on by some meat.
Yes, you can certainly bring a civil lawsuit against the casino and their security service(s). Photographs, videos and eyewitnesses in your favor would be very helpful. Be sure to keep photostatic copies of all of your medical records as a result of your treatment by physicians for your injuries. The casino will probably claim that you started the incident and their personnel will no doubt testify to that effect. Call me at either (732)932-7226 (office) or (732)710-0004 (cell). Were any municipal complaints filed either by you or the casino personnel?

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. You can certainly sue the club for assault and battery as a result of their harmful and offensive physical contact with you resulting in injuries. I suggest that you make sure you have medical bills to back up you claims and pictures of any injuries as well. the club will claim that you were the one fighting and will have all their employees testify to this. there may however, be a video to obtain that tells the story. I suggest that you hire a lawyer to write a letter to see if you can obtain a quick settlement.
