Can my landlord withhold repairs for rent?
Question Details:I live in a house with one bathroom and the plumbing has went bad. The pipe is cracked and it is causing a leak under the sink and extensive water damage. When my fiance called the landlord, they stated that they are not going to repair because we have only paid half of the rent for the month. I am trying to understand my rights as a tenant in this situation and what my landlord can't do. I believe that mold is going to start growing soon. What can I do?
