Do I need to see a doctor after an auto accident?

Question Details:Do I need to see a doctor instead of the chiropractor? My co worker and I were in a car accident 2 days ago(where an old guy pulled out in front of us and was at fault which he also admitted on police report). We weren't hurt real bad, we just had neck and back pains. So we went to the chiropractor. Do we need to stop going to the chiropractor and is to late to see a physician?

It is entirely your decision whether to see a physician or a chiropractor and whether or not to change doctors.  It has been my experience in auto accident cases that the treatment is usually effective if it includes physical therapy regardless of whether the physical therapy is provided by a physician or chiropractor.
