How do I deal with a failure to appear warrant?

A case may be reopened and settled by filing a motion to reopen.  I suggest that you find out all the different cases that you currently have pending in court. You can do this by calling the clerk of the criminal court and ask for a list of all your court cases regarding traffic tickets.  after you have a complete list, you need to file motions to open the cases.  This will trigger the court to set you down for a court date.  at the court date you need to try to work out a payment resolution to the tickets and explain why you failed to appear in court.  After you have settled the cases, you need t make sure the record that these cases are disposed of are sen to the Department of Motor Vehicles to process.  You then need to go the the DMV to reinstate your license and pay any necessary fees associated with restoring your license.  I suggest that you hire a lawyer to help you here, especially going to court.  Most lawyers will meet with you for free.
