I am going to mediation with my job and the EEOC andI don't know what is reasonable to ask for?

Question Details:I need to know what I should reasonably ask for in a mediation suit with my employer and the EEOC. I am a teacher but not public school.

I would need to know more facts to help you with identifying what to ask for.  I would imagine that you want your job back if you were terminated.  I would like to know what you think the grounds for termination or not getting hired are.  Please re-ask the question and provide more facts as to what your ultimate goal is and what you want out of the hearing.  If we are talking about monetary damages, you should seek at least a years worth of your salary.  However, I need to know more before I can give you a definitive response.  I suggest going to see a lawyer before the hearing. Most lawyers will consult with you for free for the first time.  Explain this in more detail and they may be able to give you some direction.
