Can I still sue for an personal injury that occurred in 2004?

Question Details:In October of 2004, I was diagnosed with both Deep Vein Thrombosis and a Pulmonary Embolism . I have had multiple hematology workups and all the doctors have come back with the same results -  that they were both caused by my use of the birth control pill Orthotricyclelin low as I have never smoked nor did I meet any other of the possibilities that could cause this problem. My question, is since it has been now 5 years am I still able to sue for my injuries that were caused by using this medication ?

Whether or not you can file a lawsuit for personal injury will be determined by the statute of limitations for personal injury claims in your state.  If the statute of limitations has tolled (expired), you won't be able to file a lawsuit.

You should contact a personal injury attorney in Oregon, who will be able to tell you the statute of limitations for personal injury.
