Question Details:If a spouse filled for a legal seperation, could that spouse also begin custody proceedings, or does that have to wait until the divorce proceedings?

Usually, a legal separation proceeding is no different from a divorce, except that the marriage is not dissolved and so no grounds for that need to be established.
