My husband obtained lead poisoning at work subjecting my daughter and myself to lead poisoning. Can the company where he worked be held liable?

Question Details:It has been determined in the WCC court that he acquired lead poisoning at work. Blood tests that were kept from him show that he should have been sent to see a physician but he was never informed of this by the employer. After the confirmation that he has lead stored in his bones, we called OSHA who has cited the company for their negligence in training and precautions to protect family members. He brought lead dust home on his clothes and on his body. They provided no place for him to shower. My daughter has had female problems and lost one of her ovaries and I now am a diabetic.

Yes, the company is liable.  You, your daughter and your husband can sue the company for negligence.  All three of you should obtain your medical reports/records and medical bills to document the nature and extent of your injuries.
