You don't need to worry about your company taking anything away from the settlement you receive from the other driver's insurance for your your injury. Regarding your injury claim, an offer of $10K would include your medical bills, any wage loss, and your pain and suffering. If your bills were in the neighborhood of $3K, for example, and you had no wage loss, $3k would pay your bills, and the rest is for pain and suffering.
