What to do about a basement that floods if I bought a home "as is" but the seller failed to disclose that fact?
Question Details: I purchased this home 7 months ago "as is" but the owner said the basement was dry, which is obviously not the case. Since I purchased it, I have constantly been doing mop-ups. Now the owner had to know that after a rain, the basement would flood but failed to make notice to the seller. The home inspector noticed it but brushed it off as well we had an unusual rainy season. Who is liable for any of this - my real estate agent, the owner, the home inspector or do I have to just suck it up?
